I used TDK (dvd-r) and burned at 4x and it works fine, could be your media. Does it only happen with that one game?

I'm having the same exact problem, the red bar goes all the way up and then it stops there. If i leave it for 10 minutes, it starts but the intro is extremely choppy and never gets to the game. I'm using TDK DVD+R and burning at 1x with DVD Decryptor but it always burns @2.4X for some reason.

i had that loading problem too. i created an ISO image of the original game and then burned it to DVD-R at 1x and it didnt work. i dont really know what caused the problem but i made another image of the original game dvd, this time using Nero and i saved it .NRG. The nrg file burned perfectly at 1x on a DVD-R and that backup works fine.
