Ok Iv'e downloaded the whole bunch of emulators i guess it was a package because i got a whole bunch of stuff im clueles on how to put the games on here and stuff can someone please help me I have aim it is KAZOOBALLA07 please im me to help or just post here

if you have v1.5
you might need to use a program to change the eboot to work on v1.5!!
If you have the KXploit program convert the eboot file then put it in the game file on your psp.............

OK i was wondering how do i get the upgrade to 1.51 i have that kxxploit homebrew thing already on my PSP but im lost from here.

I think the only versions that work are the V1.00 and V1.50 so you might not want to upgrade your PSP until the other firmware has been cracked with good results. Do you still need help with the emulators? Let me know.

ive downloaded the emulators (various ones) but when i make sure the all done right, when i run then they just say program cannot br run

for the emulators...are you getting two folders?...most of the time emulators come as one "EBOOT.BIN" file...if this is the case then you will need to download a tool to extract this this bin file into two folders(the easiest is Sei PSP Tool)....This tool is used to create launchers from existing "Eboot.pbp" files from some loaders, (i.e. some loaders may only contain one "Eboot.pbp" file, when in actuality you will need two, "name of loader" and "name of loader%")
mostly this guide will be a guide for almost all emulators out right now....first off you will need to download AND extract the emulator that you would like to use(gb, gbc, genesis, mame, nes, snes, pcep...etc.)...Second you will need to download Sei PSP Tool(my personal fav) or KXPloit(the grand daddy)(you can go to the link in my sig to get it or a quick google search)...Third you will want to extract these files to your PSP\GAME folder(double click on the PSP folder and then double click on the GAME folder)...you should get an "EBOOT.BIN" file, next you will open up Sei PSP or KXPloit...(i'm going to use Sei PSP Tool for this guide)in the first box labeled "Name" type in the name that you would like to use for your emulator...i just named them their actual names...once done...look to the box below this one labeled "PBP File"...click on the button to the right with the three dots, then choose "from file"...this should bring up an "Open" window go to the folder that you got from extracting the emulator file...select the "EBOOT.BIN" file..then click on the "open" button...this should bring you back to Sei PSP Tool window...look to the box below the one labeled "PSP Unit"...select the drive your psp is plugged into(if you are just now plugging your psp into your comp, you may want to click the refresh button if you can not find the drive for your psp{mine is the J: drive}) and then click on generate...then select the firmware you have(1.5{US} or 1.0{JAP})...this is pretty much the guide for Sei PSP Tool...now you will need go to the window for your psp...the one that pops up when you plug the usb cable into your psp and go to usb mode..there should a new loader installed into your PSP\GAME folder..make sure that the "name you came up with" file is in front of the "name you came up with%" file...now you will want to find the roms you want to play(make sure you own them though) and extract these files to the "name you came up with" file(NOT THE "NAME YOU CAME UP WITH%" file)....here is a list of the file extensions for each emulator i probably will miss a few but i will update them until i have everyone of them here for you:
GameBoy / GameBoy Color - .gbc, .gb
GameBoy Advanced - .gba
NES - .nes
PC Engine - .wad, .pce
Snes - .smc

i followed the instructions and used sei, it didnt quite work, i jus loaded the game and the screen went half white half black, im sure i did everythin right, did i???

are you putting the roms(have to be extracted first) in the "name you chose"folders, not the "name you chose%"folders? are the loaders in your PSP\GAME folder? make sure that the "name you chose" folder is in front of the "name you chose%" folder...

no, i didnt put them into the percent folder, and the normal file is before the percent one and yes it is in psp\game so i think its all right but it still dont work, i rhink im beyond help

i downloaded a psp emu of the pspupdate site, i was a genisis emu and the lastest version and i had jus downloded sonic 1 for it,
i did it all made sure all stuff was right place right folder
but still no luk
p.s. is there and n64 emu compatable with the psp

hmm you've placed the two genesis folders in the psp\game directory? put the (extracted)rom file in the first genesis folder not the one with the % symbol...there is a rumor that one is in development(N64)..i know arcanix is going to give me hell on it..lol ;)

ok i tried what u said by first downloading sei psp tool thing and it wouldnt let me open it, then i tried 2 download kxxploit and it wont let me open that either then it says i cant open .rar files or something will i not be able 2 do this since i have windows xp?
help me?!?

go to http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and download the trial version of winrar and you should be able to extract the files needed..good luck and let us know how it goes or if you need some help... ;)
correction: either get it from filepedia or the above link...didn't realize that filepedia had it too..

There is now a N64 emulator but its not fully working, doesnt play commercial roms as of yet, but coming along nicely thanks too all the smart coders.
PSP emulator? there is one for pc but it doesnt play ISOS,it is used mainly by coders to test thier new homebrew.
