i got FAKE Taiyo Yudens with the TYG02 coding w/ the LINKYO branded 8x dvd-r~ made in taiwan and they SUCK by the way; just for your info, that has NO bearing on the 4x dvd+rw media you are asking about, so i would NOT know, but, if you DO decide to try these, let us know the media ID and how they work FOR YOU personally~ it's your money, nobody can tell you how to spend it~ :)

like i said, i wouldn't know, i never tried them before...i had the 8x dvd-r variety and THEY SUCK~ so, IF and ONLY IF they use same manufacturers...then i would ASSUME they would not be very good, BUT, i have no experience with those in particular, so i can't give you an answer~ :)
