Hey,
Is $37 AUD (26.11 US) a good price for a PS2 Swapmagic 3.6 PLUS (PAL) AND SLIDETOOL Combo?
[edit] Also does the ps2 need to be modded?

I have the bulkier version of the PS2.

The only mod you have to do to the Ps2 is take the front bit of the disc tray, that is really simple thou so don?t worry :) $37 AUD seems like a fair price to me but then again am not to familiar with the prices down under, is 37 a lot were you are?
(btw 37aud is 15uk)

Well its $37 + $6 for postage =$43, and for a DMS4 EZI PRO its what... $124-$128 including postage so this works out cheaper. Do you like swap magic?

Swap Magic is the best thing since the Internet in my opinion, it really does open a completely different world for your Ps2, it?s quick & easy to use and the success rate is high apart from DVD9 games of course.

Nope, once it's off it should be fine just watch out you don't break the plastic clips :) i did but it still stays on fine.

There well worth it, gets a bit tedious after a while with the slidetool but then again i use a hdd so i don't need to swap disk's :)

No you won't have to buy SM again, if you get a fliptop you only need to open the Ps2 and swap the lid and your set for life or till the laser dies like all Ps2's tend too.
