Launching HDLoader Elf from HDAdvance

Hey i have a question regarding launching a CD iso image with HDLoader elf on(version which allows to play DVD games such as GT4 and God of War) which can be launched from HDAdvance.

The reason for wanting to do this is becuase i cant get the ExecFTP MC exploit(Execftp freezes when it gets to ps2hdd so im guessing it doesnt like my 200gb HD) to work. Im not to bothered about having ftp access or launching homebrew apps(xbox and now PSP take care of that) so this could be a good solution.

I havent tried this yet becuase i cant find a HDLoader elf and not 100% how to make a CD for it, but i dont want to deleve into that unless it will actually work.

Also i dont think you can launce elfs files using hda as far as you can only do it using a mdchip or swap magic.

Your best bet would be to make yourself an Independence install disk, use a slide tool/flip top to copy the install disc just like you would an import game using HDAdvance, then run the Independence install program from HDAdvance.

Do a quick search of the message boards. It's a little confusing at first, but do plenty of reading on the subject. L-Burna started a great thread that covers exactly where to find the tools you need and how to set up the program. Make sure you download the .elf files you need and include them in your list of files to compile into the install disc. I know I'm short on details, but keep looking and you'll find what you need by searching the boards. Good luck!
