Hello...i have a problem...i have used up all the 5 attempts. Well not me...my sister. I used 4 of the attempts and she goes and pays a website to unlock it, which of course didn't work and now my 6230 is restricted. Is the only way to go to a unlocking shop and get it done for around £10?

hmm icic...i know of a place to go, but what do i say? Can you unlock my phone because my sis has attempted to unlock it? Won't they get suspicious, or will they jsut do it. I don't like the place though cos it looks didgy, but its the only place around here.

You dont say anything, take the phone tell them to unlock it and thats it. Its your phone to do with what you want.

You keep the sim card out when entering the code, this is done using the * key for the pw+ just keep pressing it and the letters will appear if you make a mistake just press cancel. the # key is fairly obvious. Use code 1 first and if that doesnt work use code 7. B e carefull you have only 5 attempts to input the codes after that it will need to be unlocked with a cable. If you arent sure how to input the codes give a shout back, either way let me know how you get on .GOOD LUCK!

10x the first code apears to work after i typed it in a message appeared phone restrictions off, i rut in another card and it's working fine
