Try code 1 if no joy code 7, you get 7 lists of codes but you only input 1 of them, if code 1 doesnt work code 7 should, input the code without your sim card in. Use the * key to get the letters keep pressing it fast and you will see them change the # key is obvious. If you dont know what your doing ask again you only have 5 attempts after that it can only be unlocked by cable

Hi all, wondering if someone could help me unlock my phone:
Model: Nokia (6230 )
IMEI: 35503200824601
Network: 31017000 (Cingular USA)
I used GEN "asic 6"
with this tool: http://unlock.nokiafree.org/
It gave me the following codes (tried the ones in bold) - no love. Do you need the spaces that I see in some posts? I entered as below, without spaces.

nevermind - i tried one more and it is fully locked now.
I had the IMEI wrong before - was missing a zero.
correct IMEI: 355032000824601
used this site (they were kind enough to tell me my IMEI was wrong)
7: #pw+985412303316323+7#
didn't get to try 1 or 5 - they might of worked.
oh well.

anyway, the place where I bought the phones will unlock for $20 per, so not too bad - free woulda been better.
