You may need to keep your valid sim card inserted when inputting the codes, are you sure no one have tried to unlock the phone before you only get 5 attempts

Hi
Try putting in your O2 sim card it will then ask you for a restriction code, try entering it then see if that does it

Ok, I have unlocked my Nokia 6230 from Cingilar USA, i have put my 2 chips in it every thing worked fine. Got to Europe and it worked in Germany with a Vodaphone chip..... roomed in Denmark fine too. Got here in Dubrovnik Croatia, and it says (no operator avalible) I thought it was my Vodaphone ship,I bought a croation chip and it says the same thing. I put all of my chips in other peoples phones and they work fine. I dont know if my is broke, or if it just cant read the operators down here in Croatia, Please can any one help me, I have to stay here for 2 mounths. Thanks!

Hi mates,
I have a nokia 6230 as well: 353767008638022.
I was on the uk for one year on Vodafone. I would like to unlock it to put my french Orange sim card inside now.
I tried other website...but it did not work. This forum seems to be finally very useful. Could someone give the code please ?!!

Hi everyone, great forum!
I have just acquired a Nokia 6230. I've tried to unlock it using a free unlocking caculator on another site but have failed 3 times.
EDIT: Managed to unlock it now, don't worry.

Hi Berty,
I have (due to my friend?s upgrades) two nokia's both locked. I have read this forum thread and the one thing I do understand is you are the man. : ) the 1st is a 7250i on T mobile uk, type:nhl4jx code:0512596 FCC ID:pynahl-4j IC:661v-nhl4j IME:352545003203047 and the 2nd is 6230 on orange uk, TYPE:rh-12 CODE:0513072 IME:352953008160503 . The 6230 has no sim, but I do have a new vodaphone sim. I have downloaded a key generator but was unable to highlight asic 6, so I got scared of lockout and decided to pester you. I understand how to get the P and W functions but don?t know how to get it to ask me for code and how to confirm code. Is there a legend and an idiots guide to nausing up good phones or can I just be wimpy and let you do the intelligent stuff.
