Hey Guys n Gals,
Just to clear a few things up.
To generate the message "phone restricted"
Simply insert another sim from another network other than your contract network.
When you see the message above, enter the code(7) that has been generated for you by us. To get + hit *+ twice,p hit *+ three times, w four times and so on. Hit enter after all the number and letters have been entered correctly.
You should see a message saying "Phone restriction Off"
Voi La . Phone should turn off and on again and accept your new sim.
Hope this helps and clears up some confusion.

I have the Nokia 6230 with USA Cingular network
IMEI: 353372002178768
Can you please help me unlock it, I get different codes with different generators and am not sure which ones to use.
Please give me the link of the code generator you use so I can do 2 other phones without bothering you in the future...

I already entered 2 codes from Nokiafree V3.00:

but they didn't work!

Hiya psxnut, thanx for getting back to me, i have just found a nokia code generator, got some coded but none worked. I think ive messed up on it now as i entered 6 codes and you only get 5 tries at it. Now it says i can only get it unlocked via cable.
Anyway.
Country is UK
Network is Orange
Please let me know if i can still unlock the phone myself.

Hi dejaytim,
you can do it 2 ways, if you insert your new sim, the fone will come up with something like, fone restriction. at this time enter the code(7) into the fone, to get p hit the + key twice, to get w hit the plus key 3 times and so on, you have to enter the code number quite quickly, when you hit the hash key at the end your fone should display something like "restriction off" the fone will reset and accept your new sim. The second way is to remove all sim cards and when your fone says "insert sim" enter the code the same as above, good luck and let me know if everything goes to plan.
