I've been at this for days,I've read everything i could, tried a dozen programs but couldn't find the right thing for my problem. I'll try to explain the steps I used.
1.i downloaded bewitched.svcd.ts from mybittorrent.com
2.i used TMPEG to create an iso file then burn to dvd
-the dvd only showed a menu on the screen, no movie
3. then i tried nero with the iso, it burned, but yet again, what appeared to be just files when played
The iso file can be played from my hard drive on my comp.using nero showtime perfectly,so why won't it burn to disk? The file is only 3.92GB. I've burned lots of iso files using nero, why is this one different? Is there and answer out there, or am i just a retard? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

bewitched.SVCD.ts
Is this an AVI, an mpg, or a zip/rar?

Tmpgenc doesn't create ISO files, it encodes video to mpg (m2v/mpa), so I'm not sure what you mean.

Thanks so much for responding!I really need the help. The original files are rar. I was advised to use tmpeg; the option i used was "create iso image", then "burn iso to disk". all I get when i play back on player is a menu...no movie. I also tried taking the file and burning it with Nero...same thing...no movie. Where did I go wrong? Was it in the very beginning? I've tried so many things but maybe I'm not qualified to use a computer!!! I sure would appreciate the input. Thank you ever so much.

First I would unrar.
Then, depending on what is REALLY in the rar, I would encode to mpeg-2, doing away with the existing menus.
If the rar contains .vob's, extract the actual mpeg from them, using something like ReJig.
If the rar contains an AVI, encode to mpeg-2 (elementary streams) with tmpenc plus, then author in ReJig.
If the rar contains an mpg, find out if it's dvd spec, and reauthor, or re-encode, as needed.

Without knowing exactly what's in the .rar, it's impossible to recommend software to you.
