No sound when I back up my Movie

When I tried to back up my trilogy Back to the future there is no sound! I used dvd decrypter and both times it failed- any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi ummanjik,
Are you saying you rip the movie to the hard drive and then play it throew your PC and you get no sound? Or are you using another program to encode the DVD's and then have no sound? If so what program did you use?

Hi
I am using decrypter to copy the movie to my hard drive but only the introduction has sound, the rest of the movie looks fine but is silent! I got some sort of message stating something about patent rights being infringed and therefore only plays the movie without sound!
Hope you have some ideas

hi bbmayo
sorry for the delay in replying, I have eventually managed to back up my Trilogy set (with sound!). In answer to your question I use win dvd to watch on my pc. Many thanks for your help and also your guides are extremely helpful
