Question....I have swap Magic 3.6 with the Flip top. The problem I'm having is...when I load the Swap disk....it starts to spin...the will make a clicking noise....spin....noise...and will not load. It will load after about 4 to 5 atepmts. if that. Kinda frustrating. I have heard people say on here ..well maybe its the lazer/eye going bad or needs cleaned. OK...if that the case how come it reads the Originals with no problem..no noise...always boots..just like the day I bought it. Even when I do get the sawp to load and insert Backup..it even reads that good. It just seems like its the swap disk ANd I have 3 swap disks. 2 from the ones I bought with flip top and one I tried from my friends. Not sure what could be causing this.

Perhaps its your burning method? Did you say that your origonals work with the flip top on, without any problems, or that they work when the flip top is off.. I dont have a flip top im using the slide card, so bare with me, i might be able to help.

At first it sounds like a laser issue, but u say your origonals work.

Get back to me on weither your origanls work with the flip top or not and ill try to help you as much as i can okay.

yea my originals work fine. I just load the disk like a normal (using tray) But when I insert my Swap disk. The PS2 is having problems reading that disk only. It just spins and clicks ...spins and clicks..like its trying to read it. Again....it will load after a few attepmts. My friends loads every boot. mine is a hit or miss 3 out of 10 times... Its just isnt reading the swap disk like it should be. But originals ....are fine.

Thats very strange, have you checked that your ps2 version is compatable with Swap magic?

Sorry man i dont think i can really help you, i dont have the flip top and ive never used it, one thing you could do tho is go onto the swap magic website and email them, inquiring for help. It may be software or even the flip top its self thats the problem. Give it a try, its worth a try.

There is a contact link on the far right.

Good luck

i dont think its the flip top itslef. or it wouldn't allow the orignals to play correctly. it has something to do with that swap disk. Like I said even when I insert the back up game (after many attempts)...it will read that one as smooth as the original. It just wont read that swap disk for some reason.
