I have about 40 anime DVD's that I have made myself. They do not have any scratches on them, and I wanted to burn them onto some better DVD brands (Verbs), because the ones I put them on before were Memorex's. So would you recomend decrypting and then burning or just burning? Thanks.

you have no need to decrypt if they are not copy right protected. it will not increase the quality you can use cd check this comes highly reccommended to me with the ability to fix any corrupted files should any problems arise during the transfer

How exactly do I use CD check, and also, is it free or do you have to pay?

all you need to do is copy/paste (using windows explorer), the video_ts folder from each Memorex disc to somewhere on hard drive, then use Nero to create a new DVD on the Verbs.

IF you get a problem copying, i'd worry about the uncopyable discs later. You just don't need to check them, as you can either copy the data off or you can't.

IF you can't copy any of the discs, leave those til last. You may be able to copy most of the files using one of your drives (if you have 2 drives), then try to copy any troublesome files on another drive. It could be that you can't get some files off some discs, but don't create work when you don't need to. Just copy as many as you can without checking them, then attack any troublesome ones last
