I have a movie that is in mpeg4 format. It shows a RealMedia icon in it's folder. When I try to view it, it brings up the Real palyer but shows no video or sound but the counter shows it is playing.

How do I veiw this file then burn to DVD? TIA

Your system si showing the Real Player icon next to this file as it is currently associated with this application on your system.

Try downloading and installing the FFDShow codecs and see if this sorts out the playback problem. You could also try right clicking the file and using the 'open with' option to specify a different application.
