Anyone have problems loading 3.6 on old V3 PS2's? It works on my friends slimline everytime, but has problems on 2 different V3's. I have to adjust my laser for about 10 min everytime before I can get it to read SM3.6. Every other game, movie, or backup plays flawless.
Any advise?

I'm havin a problem too... once i mess around with my ps2 for a while it'll occasionally read the SwapMagic DVD disc... then when i do the swap and hit load program it'll start to load.. then it'll go back to the Browser screen and say that its an invalid ps2 disc... anyone know whats wrong? I have done the flip top/swap magic combo before on a ps2 of the same version before without many problems.

your close to the sweet spot for the backup. you have to move the laser 1 or 2 clicks at a time. You should be able to tell if your getting closer or farther away

try changing the texture mapping on the PS2 driver from standard to smooth. I still haven't figured out why my SM won't play either. You might have a laser problem. Don't mess with it unless you get as fed up as I did. Are you having problems with other games/movies?
Go to google and type adjustment of PS2 laser. Find one of the guides and read the entire directions. hope it helps

I'd suggest just cleaning it. Use a qtip and alcohol. You can find a ps2 repair guide at www.exploitstation.com and it will tell you how to adjust your laser. Don't adjust it without reading that guide cause you could totally mess it up so that nothing reads again.

i just bought the swap magic 3 with slide tool. i burn the ps2 dvds with dvd decryptor and i follow the instructions. i burned a copy of my own game medal of honor and i got invalid p2 game disc error.i also tried it with other games. i follow the demo video on this website. http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Feature.htm

i have the regular p2 console. not slim. i dont want to be messing with no laser.
