I bought some fujifilm DVD+R s. I downloaded dvd identifier and ran the disk . It stated that the fujifilm disk is manufactured by ritek. Just wandering if this is good media. Thanks for any help.

The Ritek g04 and g05 seem to have a pretty solid reputation here. All you can do is try them and see if they work well for you and your setup!

when i purchased my riteks LONG time ago, i got them from both supermediastore and meritline.com, either or, depending on who has the better price at the time will be fine. i THINK both of them are ritek authorized dealers so they have a VERY good refund/return program if you happen to get faulty Ritek discs, more likely than not you will get good discs, but just in case, they will not give you any trouble in getting a "good batch" if you happen to get a "bad batch" :)

i have about 600 of the Ridata Riteks 8x DVD-R that code out as RitekG05s, the other spindles of Ritek i have were not branded as Ridata, they were just the ones on supermediastore.com/meritline.com that specified in the DESCRIPTION that they were G05 coding. :)

either way you go, whether it be the Ridata branded Riteks or the non-branded Riteks, as long as you buy from those 2 vendors(as i have in my past experience) you should be just fine. good luck moviedud~ :)
