I downloaded a video file that was without subtitles. So then I downloaded the subtitle but I would have no idea how to do this.

I would like to convert the file to VOB (with divxtodvd) then burn to dvd, so the sub file needs to be attatched to the file.

Sorry, you cannot claim we write guides for the software you like most (divxtodvd is not OUR favorite)....

Ah, if you'll limit to encode oper manent subtitles on a VCD movie 8which will give the same result, in terms of quality), read http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/divx_to_vcd.cfm or PM me your e.-mail address to receive a full guide which also explains how to manipulate subtitles...
