Too be honest swap magic is so easy to use! lol. Really i don't see how people will have trouble with this. But if you want to take a easier way then a modchip. Well i suggest like hd advance software for an ps2 hd so you can run your backup's on it. For more info on that goto www.usbextreme.com. On good modchips try www.modchipstore.com

Please dont post this. Take a closer look at this sticky thread:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/30646

it clearly says not to post something that goes against Swap Magic users.

Honestly, why do you even bother to post garbage about this? We get SO many of these. Seeing this reminds me of that bern2707 noob, tried to insult me by calling my ofnird, what a child. I'm not about to say "what do you gain from this?" or "stop acting tough", but try and use your common sense once in a while.

I am using swap magic and i have to say i think its brillient. Its really efficent and the best thing is its portable. So if your on the move its really handy.

I do however think having a mod chip installed is the way to go, loading up the Swap Magic disk every time you wish to play a game can get very tedious, expecially when you've just backed up a new game and are anxious to load it, also most chips have a built in cd/dvd detector while save even more time. But dont put down magic swap dude it rock,i highly recommend it to any newbie, or anyone who doesnt want to have to go through the trouble of opening there ps2. for warrent reasons ect.

To not pretend to be the student of a master, for your failure's insults him as a teacher.

OK, a mod chip IS way better than Swap Magic as far as ease of use and features.
But i also have Swap Magic for my V7 and it works just fine.

With a mod chip you just have no rebuilding of ISO's, No screen cut off when playing PAL on NTSC system (or other way around)
No Swapping, No extra Swapping when using Cheat Disks like AR Max.
just less hassle all around.
