Just a curious question...I use dvdshrink 3.1 and 123 Copy DVD to copy my dvd's to dvd-r. I can watch them one my computer and the dvd player in my livingroom, but can't watch some of them in my bedroom. Also, some of the copies I have given to my dad continuously get an error of trying to read disk, or they show code on his other dvd player.
Is this due to the age of the dvd players? I'm assuming that the newer the dvd player, and the more updated the driver is on the burner, the more playable the dvd.

It could be several things, but if they are older DVD players they should play the -R just fine.. It is more than likely the brand of media you are using that is the problem do I dare ask what the brand is? Also make sure your burning at a low speed like at the most x4 maybe even try x2 :-)
