HI. I have a lot of 700 megabyte avi files which runs with Windows Media Player. They are Korean dramas so I have A LOT of them. I want my mother to enjoy them as well but she doesn't want to sit infront of my shitty computer chair to watch em so I want to be able to burn em onto a DVD disc so she can watch it outside in teh living room with a regular dvd player. I know I can't just burn the .avi files into the dvd disc and I also know that I have to convert the files into DVD images like .iso and .bin for the CD-Rom format.

Does anyone know how to do this?

try DivXtoDVD to convert to DVD format, then compile them all together with DVD Shrink in reauthor mode. Both are free. If you want menus with these discs however, I think you'll have to go with some $$$ software, like DVD Lab Pro.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

You can also try Avi2DVD, it's free, and comes packing 3 encoders already. It will also allow you to join multiple .avi's together, and you have some fair control over the output.

Download Avi2DVD from: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avi2...

There is also an excellent guide now available here at AD:
