I tried to burn Friday Night Lights and it failed. Then i burned another movie and it worked fine. So I went back to Friday Night Lights but Shrink didn't analyze it and it failed again. Does it save files somewhere besides the target you select. How do you I get it to analyze again?

Thanks

Uninstalling and reinstalling DVDshrink should erase the saved files. Put the setting to deep analysis if you haven't done so already, that will probably work better for you.

Does the option analysis on the toolbar above turn gray when you want to run it?

Ok I'll try running the Deep Analysis.

No it's doesn't turn gray, but it just doesn't analyze automatically like when you put the dvd in the first time. So I'm thinking for some reason it knows that it failed the first time I tried to burn and won't burn successfully.

if uninstalling doesn't clear the files, (i don't disbelieve J-Kwon, have just not needed to uninstall in a long time) the analysis files live in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\dvd shrink.

don't know which ones are which though..

It was just a thought creaky, but if you wipe the program it should wipe all the data aswell. Creakys method will be quicker than unistalling and reinstalling

the only thing with my suggestion is there's the odd file in there that buggers up Shrink if you delete it (or them) (can't remember name of files/amount of files)

however if i recall you can just move ALL the files to a temp folder, if Shrink doesn't start up, look thru the files and copy back the ones that aren't the actual analysis files - i thibk it's obvious which ones are wehich - sorry i can't remember exactly and am not at home at the moment to check. I can't even remember if i gave up last time and copied ALL files back

Sorry this must be the most vague post i've done in ages :)
