ok, so over the past few days, i tried to backup the movie Closer, but to no avail. I am using Decrypter and Shrink, i got it to rip to the harddrive, and shrink does its thing, but decrypter keeps giving me an I/O error around 17% or so. I finally gave up and scrapped the project, and now i can't backup anything. For instance...my next project seemed okay, decrypter even gave me a happy tone that the project was finished. The disc couldn't be read. I have been burning for a few months, i use verbatim dvd-r, and my drive is a sony. also, decrypter seemed to take much longer to make a copy after this whole Closer thing...any ideas???? I haven't had any problems in the past...

Hi there,

The DVDs Closer and Hitch have been problematic for several people.

There's been a lot of discussions on both of these movies.

Do a search, I'm sure you will find something...

Install AnyDVD v5.3.2.1 Demo, it should do the Closer DVD.

just use DVD Shrink...there is a setting on DVDshrink that will allow you to burn the disc to your harddrive....do that and then use another program to burn the actual disc...should work a little better

thanks for the tips...any idea why everything just stopped working even after i scrapped the Closer project? I deleted all the files from Closer, then burned another disc, everything looked fine as far as the process, but won't play on my dvd player...burned a few more coasters trying and hoping they would work, but nothing has
