cheers for the codes by the way, i thought i was trying to unlock it using t mobile codes, didnt realise i had to use the codes for the network sim i was putting in.
neway
there is no sim in there
i type the code in with no spaces and i get no message wat so ever but wen i put the sim in it comes up with "phone restricted, undo?"
any ideas?

After you entered wrong codes five times the only way to unlock the phone is "direct unlock".
Codes will not work anymore.

Can anyone help me with my 'new' 6230 on Vodaphone Live! UK?
IEME is 353767007616052.
With a new SIM card in, the display reads "Phone restricted" + flashing 'STOP' sign.
Pressing enter produces the following message:
"Enter restriction code:"
The phone was purchased off ebay as being "unlocked" but obviously isn't.
