Hi, I'm new here and I recently downloaded avi2DVD and DVD Decrypter. Over the past week, I've successfully burned the several avi's.

When creating the image for my latest movie, an error message said, "I/O Error 112." It didn't terminate the process of creating the image, so I thought it would be irrelevant. As soon as the program finished creating the ISO, I burned it straight to DVD using DVD Decrypter. Again, there was success.

I then popped it into my DVD player. I skipped ahead a few chapters until I reached the last 15 minutes of the movie. Suddenly, the DVD stopped, and my DVD player claimed that my DVD was dirty. I cleaned off the tray and DVD, tried it again, and tried again, but to no avail. Over the past few days, I've wasted 2 more DVD+R's trying to get it burn in its entirety on the DVD.

I've kept the same settings on in the whole process as the settings I've had in the previous burnings.

What should I do?

I would suggest that you start over again from scratch with this Movie as there might have been a problem when Createing the DVD Image and I would also suggest that you Burn at the Lowest speed Possible especially when useing Cheap DVD Media as it is the end of the DVD were most Burn errors will occur and Burning at the Lawest speed you can will help lessen the Chance of Burn errors on the Disk...

Cheers

PS: You might also Try a Different Program to Burn your DVD"s Like Maybe Nero in "DVD-Video" Mode.....

Alright, I'll try that. When encoding the video, I do it at normal quality. So by slower speed, should I do it at good or best quality, then? Is there a chance the DVD may have just run out of space?

Thanks for the help.
