I need help with using Gameshark with Swap Magic. Cuz The Codes Wont load. Can anyone help?

i have a backup of gameshark v4 and it works. What you have to do is boot into the CD version of Swap Magic and swap for the GameShark, turn on the codes you want and start the game with codes on, the tray will pop out put in the DVD version of Swap Magic or CD version pending on what type of game it is, then swap again, and all is well.

Well, does it work the same with Swap Magic 2.0? Cuz thats the version I have. And I guess that version wont let you load the gameshark codes. Ive been trying to use CDloader from Swapmagicfix.com, but it only works for some games. I might need a newer version of Swap Magic. What do you think??

i would cause the new 3.6 SwapMagic supports DualLayer games if Im not misstaken, also you can use the GameShark or Action Replay Max EVO w/ cdloader built in. Anything to beat those rediculusly hard but fun games.

sorry for bringing up such a old topic but i have a very simular problem with gameshark 2 v4. this is what i do:

First load the codes in GameShark select my codes then press start game and the disk stops moving (i have slim PS2). I next put in my Swap Magic DVD, press X, it loads swap magic menu, i then swap it with DVD loader and press X but it always goes to the red screen 'please insert PS2 disc blah blah blah. i removed memory cards, i also presed the special boot loader but i still get that silly red error screen. and i also tried from swap magic menu to boot backup directly but i still get the same results.

any ideas what the problem is? and how i can get around this? i have swap magic 3.6

Sorry, I can't help you guys, cuz my problem was with the Regular PS2, And I got it fixed. I dont know what to do for the Slim ones. But maybe someone else might know.
