Does anybody know what could possibly be the problem with my version 1 ps2? I installed the flip top with the white disc and it started making these noises, but when i take out the white magnetic piece and place it on top of the game, it works perfectly fine (but its a hassle for me to do it that way)...please help me

the top is not closing correctly, get a new 1, or if it has a spring on the back try 2 tighten it
