i have a lightscribe burner, lightscribe media.........but what program do i use to actually put the cover on the dvd?

the cd i got with my burner i dont think has the program i need

My lightscribe came with a program called Sure Thing CD/DVD Labeler, I am not sure I thought the Sonic program on the HP installation disk has this feature. If you have Nero It supports lightscribe and can create labels for the drive.

i do have Nero but how do i go about doing this

can i still burn my dvds with shrink/decrypter like ive been doing and then just use Nero for the label

and if so what in Nero do i use?

Just go into your StartSmart and it should be listed under extras. It should say print lightscribe label. Make sure you have the latest Nero, because I believe they only added this after the 6.6.0.13 version.

ive got a fairly new Nero from my buddy today

its got all kinds of diff Nero programs, but under smartstart i dont see the light scribe option.........could it be under a diff Nero thing

It should be listed in StartSmart under extras, or if you open Nero Recode you can see it along the side. Also if you open Nero Burning Rom, and go to extras tab it should be there. I know it comes in the Nero Ultra and Reloaded Versions.
