Is your system NTSF or FAT? Base on the log it says your D: doesn't support files greater than 4gb. Check on that. Try to save it on a NTSF hard drive. It might work. Just feeling a little fishy about that.

I don't think D drive being FAT32 is the problem because if you take a look the ISO being burned is on the C drive. Boricua18 what brand discs are you using?

Do you have any other burning software installed? InCD or DragToDisc maybe?

Can you burn a dvd successfully with any other burning software? What other software do you have? You must have some trouble if DVD Identifier can't even read a blank dvd-5

check HP's site for a firmware upgrade or change your media, that should do it I'm thinking.

and I think there has to be something burned onto the DVD±R disc in order for DVD Identifier to read it. That's what I've seen anyways.

Like squizzle asked, have you updated your firmware and/or tried a different brand disc?

Well if you tried burning 2 dvds and were successful 2 times there would be nothing to change but the fact is you have tried many times unsuccessfully so changing the media may help. You still haven't listed any other burning sofware you may have. Can you burn with any others? What kind of drive do you have.

Do you have Record Now DLA installed, it's similar to InCD. It will take your drive over, constantly comunicating with it.

record now and DLA are separate programs. Removing RecordNow doesn't remove DLA. You should go in and make sure this is not there.
Have you changed your media choice yet?
