I just made a DVD-R from an ISO file I had and dont know what to do. I am new here and this may be simple but her is my problem. I got an ISO file and burned it to a DVD-R at 4x using DVD Decrypter. The file plays on all DVD players I have but every 5 seconds or less it jumps from the begining to the end to the middle and all over the disc back and fourth. It looks like it doent know what part to play when every few seconds. I have no Idea what to do but realy hope this is fixable.

I would burn at a slower speed, I tend to burn at 2x max. I think it also depends on the age of your DVD player. Also try different brands of media - or +, maybe your player doesn't like the brand you are using.

Scuderia...

it's a good idea to test your compilations on a DVDRW prior to writing them to a DVDR.

if playing on a DVDRW shows problems, then you should try doing the process again, perhaps with another tools...

I logged in on March 1st 2005, and it's incredible to believe that in so short time I've learnt all that I know about DVDs from this forum...

Yep use a better brand of media and then burn at a slower speed.

What is your drive model?

I have burned tons and tons of iso files to these disc's at 4x always, and nothing has ever happend. this problem seems like the disc is being burnt out of order. Is there anyway to check the ISO to make sure its ok. Oh and my DVD burner is only a month and a half old LiteOn SOHW-1633S 16X DVD+/-RW Drive, the DVD,s are Maxell Printable DVD-R'S.

You could try mounting the ISO using Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools they create a Virtual Drive.

I believe they can be downloaded from this site
