Does anyone know where I can find a list of DVD-R brands that are good for burning PS2 games? Also, does anyone know if Vision DVD's are any good for burning PS2 games?

Hi, Not sure about the Vision disks, but if you where to stick to verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, then you won't go wrong for the game backups.

ritek are also a good brand and cheaper then verbatim or taiyo yuden Specially the G04 (4X)

Hi have used countles Ritek discs to back up movies (over 600) altogether and never had any problems with them; they are good disks! But when I started to back up PS2 discs they were just not up to the job. The games copied okay, but playback was very slow to load, and they would freeze at various points, especially when changing scenes. Now only use TY or Verb discs and the games now load as quick as originals and playback is smooth and never freezes. If you find cheaper discs that play PS2 games okay then fine, but my experience has taught me to pay the extra and get a far better result.
