Im trying to back up my ps1 game to play not on my consoles, but with my pc ps1 emulator. Do i need to burn the ps1 disk in a special way, or can i just copy it? Will it work if i just copy it?

If you just want to use the game for a pc emulator, you'll need a rom of the game, which can be freely downloaded as well(which would be easier than making a rom yourself), which is legal as long as you own a copy of said game. most emulators (by my knowledge) work with .bin files, not the game's .iso. your best bet is to go and look for the game's rom on one of the millions of emulator/rom sites that are all over the net. or, try looking around this forum for a tutorial on how to create your own roms.

yeh i have an iso file of Brave Fencer Musasi which is a rom file i downloaded. But I wanna burn the iso to a cd-r, what program should i use? I just want it for the emulator NOT my console. (i have the original game, its just scratched on the top.)
