Im bout to give up on my system, been a few days messin around with it and i still get that scratching noise or watever it is when i boot up. the disc reads fine, its just the noise that's bothering me. Another thing is, if i take out the white magnetic piece and put it manually on the game disc, it works fine w/no noise, but i cant close the top and its annoying. Could anyone tell me whats tha matter with my system?? thx a lot

thx a lot
Started out lyke this
After switching the white magnetic piece to my flip top cover, i put in an original game to see if it ran smoothly. The game loaded fine, the laser beam was able to read, but during the boot up and on, there's this noise, a scratching noise or something that's coming from my system. I have a feeling that something is touching the white disc, but i cant figure what it might be because the cover closes fine and the magnetic piece is directly connecting to the center magnetic piece. I tried looking thru the crack where the disc tray opens with a flash light and saw that everything came down right and still cant figure out where the noise is coming from..
The noise would click faster whenever the disc spins faster and so on...

Is it possible that the center(where the black ring holds the white piece) is coming down too far?? causing it to push the white disc up and scratching somewhere?

I dunno but if i take out the white disc and place it on top of the game disc w/o closing the cover, then it works perfectly fine (kinda ghetto)
