I just wonder what are the best software combination for a good quality backup. I use AnyDVD with CloneDVD2....it is nice. I also use DVDdecrypter with DVD shrink with the quality settings on. And I also use dvdfab decrypter with nero and it's good also. But I wonder if anyone knows what the best software to get the best quality of the rip and transcoding. Help would be appreciate. Thx alot.

All the programs u just list i use and the combination that works best for me in all aspects is:

1) DVD Decrypter
2) DVD Shrink
3) Clone DVD 2

I find it does not have much diffrence to the naked eye

Intervideo DVDCopy3
is a really good one better than the other mentioned here
but i have been having some audio problems using it with AnyDVD ,in some stand alone players it wants to play the directors comments instead

@aabbccdd

I agree Intervideo DVDCopy3 is good, but it needs better re-author capabilities. I had that problem with the director's comments and one of my standalones, using the audio button cured it, but would rather have the option to just remove the 2channel in the program like you do in others.

yes arniebear , thats why iam pretty much using CloneDVD2 now instead of DVDCopy3 .I may just give them a call about this problem. if it did have some re-author capabilities it would almost be the perfect program

I did sent them an email saying I was trying their program and found it to be very good except for the re-author feature and the fact that there is no way to control the burn speed. I like the program so I have just been ripping to hard drive with it and then burning with CopyToDVD so it has been working out. But I wish they would fix these items and then it would be a perfect program.
