Hello, I just wanted to know if anybody elas had a problem backing up alone in the dark?
I am using DVDFab Decrypter and I get an error message saying "Get Dvd Information Fail. 4096"
I have also tried Dvd decrypter and shrink with no success.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have never been able to get Fab Decrypter to work on any movie. But DVD Decrypter ripped this movie easily. What error do you get with DVD Decrypter? I also did this movie with AnyDVD, did you try that?

I backed up my copy with DVDFab, Shrink, and burned with ONES. I had no bad issues at all. May be just a bad copy, good luck to ya.

I would try ripping it on another machine if I could or try to get another copy of Alone in the Dark

Probably a bad press. Make sure you've tried cleaning the disc also. If doing the full backup - depending where the I/O error -try movie only with Decrypter or Shrink. There are no special protections on this disc.

Its crazy because I am having problems with Alone in the Dark, Hide and Seek and Diary of a mad black woman (That ones my wifes). Every other movie is just fine. ???
I will try to get another copy and see what happens. Thanks everybody for the suggestions. I will keep you posted :-)
