I cant seem to burn a dvd compilation with dvdshrink. I select the segemtns i want, and put them together. The final product seems to appear the way id like it to be in the encoding preview screen. It also seems to take the proper lengthy amount of time to burn.
But the problem is, the final burnt dvd only has the first cropped segment on it, and it also has no sound. Ive been trying to find a way around this problem for quite some time now, so if anyone could shed some light on this, it would be appreciated.
Is this an original DVD movie or something else?
I'm sorry but could you just be a little more specific? I'm not trying to be an arse or nothing just trying to get a better understanding of your problem so I can try and help.

If your using that guide then backup the episodes in file mode using Shrink and then see it the files play on your computer properly before burning. It is actually pretty hard to believe that if you followed that guide that you are having these problems? hmmmm It seems as though you arent pulling each episode from the right window to the left window and that your audio is un-checked? You just need to make sure all of the episodes you want on the DVD are in the left window and that you have some sort of audio checked for each.
Also if you used that guide what program are you using to burn the DVD?

Well I am trying to help you but your not answering any of my questions? It's kind of hard to see exactly where or what the problem might be if you can't explain it a little better.
What program are you using to burn with?
Did you try backing up in file mode to your computers Hard drive and try playing them in your DVD playing software? If so what was the outcome? Also how many different players have you tried playing the DVD in? Did you try playing it on the computer? In explorer how much space is used up on the DVD? You might be doing it right, but it could be something with your player? There are other programs out there you could use for this, but DVD Shrink is probably the easiest. If you want you could try DVD Remake. One other question how did you rip your files to the hard drive? Did you make sure to rip each one to a seperate folder on your hard drive?

Ok maybe Im blind but I don't see anywhere in this thread where you said you were burning with Nero?? You also never stated anywhere that you tried to play the files from your hard drive? Ok now that I know a little more now anyway try this
1. Rip your episode's with DVD Decrypter in file mode (put each one in a seperate folder)
2. Open Shrink and click on reauthor.
3. Browse to where your first episode is and drag the title(s) you want on the DVD from the left window to the right.
4. Repeat step 3 until you have all of your titles in the left window pane.
5. Click on Compression and make sure you have the proper audio ticked for each and every episode. (Do a preview in Shrink)
6. Now click on Backup!
7. Select ISO Image file from first drop down box
8. Choose a destination on your hard drive..
9. Once DVD Shrink is done backing up your episodes. Click "File" and choose Open Disc Image.
10. Now select the ISO you just created and preview it in Shrink to be sure you have sound? If you do then continue to next step. If you dont look below
11. Now open up DVD Decrypter and Select "Mode" ISO Write W.
12. Select your ISO created with shrink and burn it to a blank DVD.. :-)
If you have no sound in Shrink check under your prefferences and make sure it looks like this
