alright i got this file that i have downloaded and it is a video i can play in VLC player. but it wont play in windows media.
heres an image of the files i need to convert. im using WinAvi To Convert but when ever i do. it gets to the screen were it says its converting and it dosnt progress, it stays at 0 fps and nothing happens. i left it goin all night and nothing happend! i have tried to convert to avi, vob, mpeg, and rm it wont convert to either.

What type of File is it???

it dosnt say, even when i put it in the burning rom the file type and extension name is still file, heres another picture, tell me what to do if you know a way to find out what kind of file it is! thx..

try renaiming the file to Initail D Fourth Stage Ep 7.MPG see if that works..ive had that happen to me before

What are the Last 3 letters of the Files name after the Period??

Or you can Right click the File and go to "Properties" and it should give you some information...

thx alot. it worked. and minion look at the second pic and look under type. just letting you know. it'll be the same a right clicking and checking, Nero shows type. but awsomeguy cleared it up for me. ive never had this happen to me so now that in know what to do, i could help out other ppl that also have this prob!
