I just received my Slidecard/swap magic discs this morning so I really wanted to play my backups. I had alrdy taken off the CD cover of my ps2 and burned 6 discs which are the following:
Viewtiful Joe 2
NBA Street Vol 3
Psychonauts
Destroy All Humans
NCAA Football 2006
God of War

Process for games: Torrented games (that i own because im to lazy to rip) and extracted the Rars so that there was only the iso and then I opened DVD Decrypter and burned the iso at 1x write speed to a Memorex DVD-R with i think a Sony DVD RW DW-D22A (but im not sure if thats the right drive)

Playing: Put in Swap Magic 3.6 and waited until it loaded (screen says Load Game (or sumthing like that) and the thing that says Normal, NTSC, and PAL (I use Normal). Then i use the slidecard to push the thing to the right and i open it, put in my burned discs, then closed it with my hand then used the slidecard to barely open it then catch the little bar inside and slid it to the left, securing it, then i hit load game (or whatever it says) then it sits there making some noises then it comes up with "Not a valid PS2 Disc", I tried this with all 6 games.

I have checked multiple topics here and found little help. I posted how i burned and how i used the slide card so one of you might be able to correct me, thx in advance

[Edit] I think my ps2 is a v7, it has 8 screws and the SCP number is 39001

some of the games on your list won't work like nba vol 3 because you need a patch. Also it is way easier to use dvd decryter just use mode iso read then iso write. you didn't need to do all those steps

Like theavuth said, NBA Street Vol3 won't work until it's been patched. Also, God of War needs some patching as well. Not sure on the others, but i do know that Destroy All Humans works fine.

Your swapping is correct, so if Destroy All Humans isn't running, then i would suggest switching to better media. I've seen tons of problems with memorex discs.

Also, i would definitely rip your games than d/l'ing them. Ripping takes like 15minutes if that, and you know what you're getting.

Okay, MAYBE i was lying about the owning the games part, i just knew that u dont support piracy, I just got home from walmart and other places and i picked up Verbatum DVD+R (They didn't have any -R) (whats the difference between +R and -R??). Thx for telling me NBA Street doesnt work, I wont try to burn that one then until i get a patch, I read later that God of War needed patching, i might do that eventually, and i'm glad my switching is right, any more comments would be helpful, ill edit this post after i test the verbatum with Destroy All Humans.

EDIT: Tried the CD and it worked, currently burning the other discs, thx for all ur help

I could tell from your first post that you didn't own them, too lazy to rip them? It was an obvious lie.

Second of all.. it's not that we don't support piracy as such, the forum rules state that linking to them, is against the rules, but If you care to read them, you would have seen that discussion over the methods of patching/burning/converting is permitted.
