I recently got mine in the mail, just the chip, and I need a guide as to how to install it, does anyone know of any that are detailed?

I got mine early this month. totally screw the ps2 up. It is harder than you think or the people who sells them lead you to believe it is an easy job. Opening the box is a challenge. Not breaking anything is impossible. I broke the fan plug and tried to solder it back on but burned the fuse. finally got to the motherboard. the damn solder points are too damn small to solder. I send it out to get it mod for $45 including shipping. I should get it wednessday. i spent $22 on mod chip. $12 on solder iron. $50 on install mod chip and fix fan. $12 on shipping the ps2 for mod. used PS2 on ebay for $100. Just found out there is a place in WI that sell PS2 slim with mod for $200. Had i known it would save me time and headache.

To answer your question: do a google search for duo 2 se and visit any website that sells it. they should have a pic of solder points. PM me if you need the website.

I have the ps2 apart, the board off, I already have some soldering skills, I just need to know what to solder what onto what...
