i came across a video clip where the audio's playing but the video is not..could anyone tell me where to start? I'm using kazaa lite pack standard and media player classic. Also, when i am watching other videos i cant seem to skip through the video, it just plays all the way through.. thanks in advance!

Try install the mega version of K-Lite instead. Also, download and read the guide re. Media Player Classic set-up:
