Is it possible to copy images on the ps2 hardrive to the pc, then convert them back to iso, so they can be burned to dvds?? Is this possible??

Yep it can be done, you need to use something like WinHIP. After the Ps2 hdd is in the PC as a slave drive use WinHIP so you can transfer the image from the Ps2 hdd to the PC hdd as a ISO.
