I need some guidence here. I have a boot disk that works on my friends ps2 but I can't get it to work on mine....... Is there something I need to do with the memory card? IF so what do I do and how do I do it? Thanks in advance for any and all help.....

What boot disk is it? The older version of Swap Magic and Gameshark will boot on older version ps2's but not the newer ones. If your friend has an older version ps2 and you have a newer one then this could be your problem.

I believe that I have a version 4 ps2. I do not know what version he has. I have tried swap magic 3.3 for dvd and I made a copy if my friends boot disk which I think it cog swap and neither of them work. I have made with the boot disk with DVD Decrypter. What else should I do?

I'm a little confused about what you are saying. Are you trying to play a burned copy of the swap magic boot disc? If so you can't play it unless you have a modchip. If you don't have a modchip you can only play and original copy of swap magic.
