I am currently loading a hard drive full of games with USB Extreme and wondered after putting all these games on there, if I decide to get a network adapter and plug in the back will they run will HDLoader or HD Advance? I just have to take the HD out of the enclosure so I can switch back and forth as needed (for maximum compatibility that way and faster loads on some games preferred). I may even just get a network adapter and seperate drive to play with certain games but this question is looking for the cheapest solution. If anyone knows this works, then I might put games on there now so that they'll already be there for HDLoader when I switch to that.

PS2 v5 SCPH 30001-R NTSC
Magic 3 Mod Chip
For USB Advance/eXtreme I used a WD400 in a USB2 enclosure. I installed games with the official Windows interface and used USB eXtreme Free Edition to boot them.
For HDLoader I am using WinHIIP to install games onto the WD400 in the USB enclosure. Then I transfer them to a Maxtor 120 DIAMONDMAX PLUS 9 6Y120L0. I boot with Fully Patched HDLoader.

I am answering my own question. I had to format the hard drive for WInHIIP so NO it wont work. However, I can still load games onto the hard drive while it is in the USB enclosure. That saves from having to turn off PC, connect hard drive, turn back on, install game, turn back off, disconnect hard drive. I can plug it in and unplug it whenever I need to install another game. I leave the top off the enclosure for easy access. You might have an enclosure already if you have a USB hard drive, or CD/DVD burner. I popped mine open and threw the DVD burner in my PC, then threw a hard drive in the enclosure. It automatically detects the drive in windows like it is another hard drive.
