I was reading your Afterdawn News link. The developer of DVD Decrypter has stopped development due to legal matters. I must say it is truly a sad day. I have used Decrypter and Shrink with wonderful results. I will continue with this set up until such day they can't function. I was also reading about DVDFab Decrypter. I then went to your Software link to check out other rippers. I was wondering if there is a replacement ripper you would recommend?

For ease of Use and Features I like "SmartRipper" but it doesn"t support the Newer Bad Sector or Arcos Copy protections in which case I suggest either DVD Fab decryptor or AnyDVD.....

Cheers

DVD Decrypter is the best DVD decrypting software ever created by man. It works wonderfully in conjunction with DVD Shrink 3.2 So let it be known world, I recommend both softwares to all!

DVD Decrypter can still handle any protections currently being used.

How long this will continue is not known and will not be until new protections become implemented.

If something new emerges, I'm sure that there will be many talented people who will develop workarounds.

Old philosophy is if it ain't broken - don't fix it.

Decrypter certainly ain't broken yet.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I am currently using Decrypt and Shrink. I'm just looking to the future for life after Decrypt.
Thanks
CJ
