Anyone burned a successful copy of this? I tried 2 times and at the same part when its buring with decrypter after i used shrink it gives me an error and aborts the burn.....so i took it to my friends house and he uses clonedvd i think it was called but still got the same error and from looking at the bottom of the cd it looked at about the same point? The original dvd has no scratches on it

just wondering

I had no problems whatsoever. Ripped with dvdd, edited with dvdremake, encoded with RB/CCE, and burned with Nero.

No problem with this movie just ripped it with DVD Decrypter then used Shrink and burned again with Decrypter. Even though you look at the disk there are times when you cannot see the imperfections, try cleaning the disk, or take it back and get another original. It could be a bad press, this seems to be getting more common.

I think you got a bad disc, and CloneDVD by itself won't be able to rip it as that program was not made to bypass any copy protections.

I think squizzle is on the right track. I think you have a original with corrupt data since you see no damage. Thats getting to be a common problem these days. I did I Robot complete disc with Clonedvd/Anydvd combination. No problem at all.

Presumably, you plan to make this attempt AFTER you have tried to clean the "I, Robot" disc, correct?

Actually, now that I read your original post, I am confused. It appears that your errors were occurring during the BURNING part of the process (after a 100% successful rip). Is this correct? If so, then please post all details regarding the blank media brand, type, and media ID (if you know this). And, some info about the speed you are trying to burn. You also may be asked to post a log of the burn, but start with the above.

I used CloneDVD/Any DVD (like Jerry746) with no problems. My son burned it also and I think he used dvdxcopy (he loves this) and AnyDVD.

ok to answer the media type questions

im using verbatim lightscribe brand so i figure no problem there with a benq dvd burner......burned all with max speed but the first 10 or so have worked fine

no i didnt clean the original dvd, not sure proper way....well i tried it on a diff brand, and at least this time the burn said was successful(and yes the ripping has been aight, just the burn has the errors)........well it gets done so i pop out the dvd and u can its not right.......instead of a huge chunk of data all in one section theres diff sections......it burns.......stops.......burns agains so theres about 20 visible gap lines id say
