When using DVDFab / Shrink / Nero any widescreen jobs come out great but the letterbox is larger then original (smaller viewable area). I can't find a thread on this. Anyone have any ideas if I can adjust this aspect ratio if it is even that?

Never seen this problem, but if you can uncheck the apect ratio do so. I use PowerDVD to view on my computer. It has pan & scan and allows me to change the setting to get a fuller screen while maintaining widescreen viewing. Hope this helps.
