I want to backup several DVDs and games but the problem I have is DVD Decrypter has to copy the files (several GBs) to the hard drive before it can burn them to DVDs. This might be a stupid question but can transfer of that much data cause ware and tare and, farely quickly, destruction my hard drive? I only ask cause on my old HD I had a P2P network and was downloading gigabytes and gigabytes of movies, music, etc... and now its actually "noisy", I can hear it running!! and it seems to run slower (no its not sotware related). The hard drive has mechanical parts, with the head writing and disk spinning, so Im wondering if its really meant for the transfer of all those GBs of data?? Also I havent been able to find a program that will copy CSS or otherwise encrypted DVDs or PS2 games from disc to disc, any suggestions?? thanx alot guys!

Decrypter will circumvent CSS protection.

Amount of data placed on hard disk will not cause any any wear and tear - just ensure you defragment on a fairly regular basis.

I am having trouble Burning an image to a DVD+RW using DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 as it states I have to find an Image File, but I am unable to find this on my hard drive once I have Riped the DVD with the DVD Decrypter to my hard drive. Hope you can help in this matter

If you have ripped it as an image file (Read ISO), you should be able to locate and burn it by using the (Write ISO) function.

It is possible that you may have ripped it in File (VOB) mode.
