connecting ps2s LAN question

im connecting 2 ps2s lan in my house. this is what i wanna do and i just need help with what kinda cables i need (crossover or standard)

setup 1
ps2 upstairs connected via ethernet to router.
ps2 downstairs connected to PC that connects to router with wireless card (pc setup to Share internet connection). ps2 is connected via standard ethernet cable. ***(do i need crossover here?)****

setup 2
just the plain old ps2 lan directly connected with ethernet. **do i need crossover or just regular ethernet cable?***

thanks guys. ill be using dual backup copies of games, would they still work LAN?

in setup 1 you do need a cross over for the ps2 to pc for sure.
setup 2 I would also think you need crossover but i'm only about 90% sure of this.
