This movie has both a widescreen and fullsreen addition on it, try using Clone and pick the one you want and then burn.

Yeah, just got a call from a friend who is having probs with Decrypter and Shrink with this movie, it has to be the two versions that is the difficulty. I just picked the fullscreen in Clone and it worked.

I had no trouble at all with this movie using AnyDVD (best $$ I've spent in a long time!) and DvdShrink. I just unchecked all the subtitles I didn't want and removed all the sndtrk files that Equalled 0MB. Took awhile but burnt and plays just fine both WS and FS versions! I have yet to find a dvd this combo can't copy. You should definitely check out AnyDVD.

i had no troubles with this movie; i used decrypter to HD, shrink to compress the whole movie and Nero to burn.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

advice to everyone that has work for me; try, if you can,to have more two applications. it is clear that with these new ecryptions, what works for a movie may not work for another and what work for you may not work for me. it is clear that depending on one's system and the movie, even the great decrypter and shrink are not cutting it. whenver decrypter or/and shrink can't help me, i go to either 1clickdvd/dvd43 free or dvd95copy xpress(this one is just $20 and handles ARccOSS just fine)and i have been able to copy any new movie.

Hello Everyone...This may have already been answered. But i copied Man of the House useing decrypter and shrink. For some unknown reason decrypter wouldnt copy VTS_01_01. After several retries, I simply just skiped the file, and decrypted everthing else. Afterwards I brought up Shrink. There were 2 versions of the movie. widescreen and fullscreen. I was unable to copy the full DVD. But thankfully the fullscreen version appeared without any flaw and wasnt missing any file like the widescreen version. All I did was reauthor, dragged the full screen version, and Voila, I burned a copy of just the actual Movie. So it is possible to have the full screen version backed up. The VTS_01_01 I believe is a portion of the widescreen and cannot be copied. If anyone has made a full version of the DVD id like to know how.

I made a copy of this movie last weekend. I ripped it with DVDFab Decrypter, then ran it through DVD Shrink to pick the version (full screen) then burned with DVD Decrypter. Had no problems and was successful on the first. Being that this is a Sony release it harder for DVD Decrypter to sort out.

Does DVDFab allow you to copy the dvd to the hard drive? Then you picked the files up with Shrink from hd?

Yep just tell DVDfab where you want to put it (what folder) and then hit start. After its ripped off, open Shrink and sneak up on the folder and do the normal shrink stuff. I don't have Nero so I use decrypter to do the burn. The few times I've used DVDfab it has worked great. I still use DVD Decrypter most of the time, but if its a Sony I just try DVDfab first. bbmayo has a very good guide on his website leading you through this process. Thats where I figured it all out. One thing about DVDfab is there are no buttons, switches, or tabs, it is pretty much a one click to rip, the whole copy process takes a few more clicks. But then how many of us sit and watch the whole process anyway.

Thanks,

If you're looking for another useful program check out SVCD2DVD. I've sarted downloading bittorrents and it works great on converting avi, mpg and bin files. It also converts Pal to Ntsc.

Yeah I did this movie the other day too and used DVD Decrypter and Shrink. I took the files and Decrypted them to my hard drive and then compressed them and burnt them using Nero with no problem what so ever on the first time. If your having problems check your versions of Decrypter and Shrink

Unfortunately we've seen the last updates for both Decrypter and Shrink. Special thanks to the originators for providing use with such great freeware.
