A safe bet would be no. You should probably go with the media brands that most of the members recommend: Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell, Fuji and others that are Made in Japan.

my sentiments exactly~ :) most of Kodak media is pretty bad (CMC MAG crap), with a FEW scattered "decent" media, nothing great except 1 good Yuden coded disc, but the chances of you getting it are pretty slim...most likely the 8x DVD+R MADE IN JAPAN will get you the YUDEN000T02 coding~ :) but no guarantees~ i would recommend avoiding Kodak all together~
