I just bought a DVD burner, and did some research on programs, bla bla bla. I downloaded DVD Shrink and DVD Decrpyter. I use DVD Shrink and have everything set to compress and its in the green. I then tell it to backup target: iso image file and burn with dvd decrypter. It goes through all of this, and when I pop the movie into my computer's dvd player or any other dvd player, it doesn't load. No error comes up, the dvd player spins, but won't load the movie.

I'm at my wits end, and have gone through nearly 10 blank dvds. I have tried different movies wondering if that is the problem. Please help :(

What brand of blank discs are you using? Some brands are rather low grade media and aren't really suitable for anything but data, not video.
It might be a case of your player doesn't like the taste of cheap discs.

I figured that may have been the case from reading different threads, but I wasn't sure if it could have been another problem. Wanted to avoid running out and buying another spindle of DVDs for another reason. Went out and bought better ones, and I haven't had a problem, I also did changed my burn speed from 8x to 4x, which may have helped. Dunno. Thanks for the advice :)

Quality media and slower burn speeds are a good combination - good to see it resolved your issues.
